Throughout these terms and conditions, the term 'we' refers to both Cambridge Running Tours, its guides, and its staff. The term 'you' refers to the customer or potential customer. The terms 'party' or 'parties' encapsulates all of the aforementioned individuals. By making a booking with us, you confirm that you agree to these terms and conditions.
Cambridge Running Tours, its guides, and its staff are not responsible for accident or injury of the customers or potential customers. There are no permissions expressed or implied by the Cambridge Running Tours or its leaders. Tour participants take part at their own risk and without express permission from the tour organisers, or Park or Council authorities. Running is a physically active sport. You should always seek advice from your GP before taking up a strenuous physical pursuit such as this. By signing this form you accept that you take part in the tour entirely at your own risk and that it is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit and able to take part. Children under the age of 13 years old are the responsibility of their parents or guardians and need to be accompanied at all times before, during, and after the tour. Cambridge Running Tours and tour leaders do not accept responsibility for injury, loss or damage sustained by a participant unless the above injury, loss and damage is proven to have been caused as a direct result of negligence on the part of the organisers.
Both parties have the right to cancel any tour or tours at short notice until payment is made, after which point the tour may only be cancelled in exceptional circumstances or under mutual agreement. A refund may or may not be payable under these circumstances, but this is at the discretion of Cambridge Running Tours and its staff. We reserve right to change any route at short notice or during the tour due to unforeseen circumstance or simply because we wish to. Prices will not be changed once a booking has been quoted, but otherwise changes may be made at short notice. In the unlikely event that Cambridge Running Tours is unable to attend the tour at short notice, given that no payment will have exchanged hands, Cambridge Running Tours, its guides and its staff will not be indebted to the potential customer. Similarly, a potential customer would not be charged for a no-show provided reasonable effort to give notice is made.
